What happened today with sexygirl and wife was quite ugly; heated debate and all.
To be fair, i'll admit that there were some faults of ours and mine. Like not confirming who was the one to pass both the money and the forms before we approached the teacher. And also not checking properly who the money and the forms were passed to. Which led to a certain amount of confusion.

But you can't deny the inefficiency of the person who is handling this transaction.
a) He claims that he did not recieve the money because we did not submit it directly to the office and without the receipt, he cannot do anything. That's fair.

b) Somehow it felt like he was trying to push the blame to us because we handed up the money to the wrong person as he claimed he had send an email to the class representatives instructing them to pay it directly to the general office. But no one in our class recieve the email. And he did not, in the first place, inform the class representatives that an email was sent to them so that they will not treat it as a junk mail. Or even confirm that they are still using that email.

c) The class representatives, upon receiving the email, are suppose to send the class order form back to him and pay the money to the general office for a reciept. As no one in our class received the email, the money was paid to someone else. Also, no one sent the class order form to him, but he did have our orders in his file. So this accounts for the order form which must be with him (which by the way he claims that the order form is not with him). Bizarre.

d) And so, because of the existence of his 'email', we had apparently paid to the wrong person. Therefore we ask him for his help to approach teachers of the councillors (because at that time, we thought we handed the money and orders to them) to confirm if they have our class money and orders. At first, he said something along the lines of he was not obliged to. Rather disappointing from someone who is suppose to be in charge of the order.

e) We kept going round and round the same issue, and it is quite evident that he doesn't want to take up the extra work because it is obviously our fault and he shouldn't be doing this.
I don't really want to argue whose fault is it, but in the first place, instructions on how to submit the forms and money should be CLEAR. instead of leaving the students to explore their inboxes and be wowed by his refreshing method of disseminating information to the masses through modern technology. Maybe he didn't think of technical hiccups like delivery failure and the email being classified as junk mail.

f) Anyway, he turned and left abruptly in the middle our discussion (to put it very nicely). I remembered thinking wow this guy is ill-mannered. He was already irritated that when he came out of his office, then throughout the whole thing he was diao-ing us and lining his words with sacarsm. His walking away was the last straw. Then i snap and i said rude loudly. Which is what he is. Amazingly, he managed to process the information quite clearly considering that we had a hard time explaining to him about the order forms and money. He turned and started walking towards my friends while i storm pass him. Then i went back because i don't want him to be holding them responsible for my rudeness.

What a day. Afterwards, when we met our classmates, hymm said that we should focus our energy on finding the money and not waste them on being furious at a person because we're bound to meet them, sooner or later, in our lives especially when we work. I thought it was quite sensible and sort of cooled down. My whole point of writing this is to organise my thoughts and stop them from chasing circles in my head. If he can be the best man of a groom, then he must have his good points too. Make peace with the whole situation and accept that there are people like that. You just need to know to where push all the right buttons in them.
I'm glad Mr Lee is better adept in this.

I wrote this too, to reflect on myself because i flare up way too easily (okay i was an ass) and also the fact that there are such horrendously irresponsible and rude people around. I need to keep myself in check, review options in handling situations, exhaust all possible solutions before getting irritated. I really hope i won't do anything rash if i ever meet such people again.

It's back to school today which serves as a stark reminder that the As are not far off. And already everyone is starting to feel the pinch for time. Me included.
I really should set up a routine like what ms hon mentioned and follow through it religiously. I use to think that no one will have enough discipline to adhere to the timetables, but i was proven wrong by several people. They are my role models! :D
I hope all these will pay off.

You know, i feel so motivated after reading a very sensible blog.
I'm not kidding.
I'm going to give myself two days of rest, and then it's full steam ahead for the As.

Hello!
Prelims are over and i'm going to try to revamp my blog. First thing i did was to delete all my old posts except for the stuff in 2010 because i was cringing when i read them. Now i feel so much better!

Went to Astons with the class, and the chargrilled chicken was not bad except that it was well, chargrilled (a bit burnt). Then we wandered around plaza sing looking for a pencil box and left for home.

I feel like going out to run but then it's raining heavily. ):
and there's sushi buffet tomorrow where i'm going to stuff my face full of rice.
i'm looking forward to it though. (:
